Quality Care

Josef De Guzman, Psoriasis advocate

Psoriasis is a chronic, non-communicable, painful, disfiguring and disabling disease for which there is no cure. It is characterized by skin cells that multiply faster than normal, resulting in the formation of raised and reddish plaque on the skin, covered with loose, silver-colored scales. These lesions are often itchy and painful, and they sometimes crack and bleed. Psoriasis is estimated to affect more than 3% of the world’s population – regardless of race, gender or age.
